We have stayed in this hotel three years in a row, over Labor Day weekend, for Its proximity to Herhsey Park. The hotel is clean, quiet, with good amenities. The breakfast is plentiful, and well stocked, with good variety. The staff is helpful, and always ready to help. This year (at least in our room) there was a new flat screen LCD TV. The bathroom would clean, and a good size. The rooms have a refrigerator, coffee pot, and microwave. The hotel is not meant as a destination resort, but rather a good place to stay for a short term visit. The hotel s excellent for that purpose, and I would highly recommend this location.

My father and I stayed at this hotel 8/7-8/9 of 2008. Our room was small but nice. It had an iron and ironing board which came in handy. The fridge was convienient to have with all the chocolate we had bought at Hershey! Also, we took advantage of the fresh produce stand on the corner. The free breakfast was excellent compared to other hotel ""free breakfasts""! One small thing that wasn't excellent was, there was no ventilation in the bathroom. It's hard to do your hair and make-up in a fog after your shower!- not a big deal! The beds and pillows were clean and extremely comfortable. It was a nice stay...next time I'll try to get a better rate though. I would stay there again.

My dad and I have been staying here during the PIAA wrestling championships the last several years. I understand that there are a lot of high school kids staying in the area as well. However, the noise at all hours of the night is ridiculous. I would imagine though that it is probably similar in most of the other hotels in the area. However, the rooms are always well cleaned and maintained. The staff is friendly and courteous. The price is mediocre for the time of year. I DO recommend this hotel and will be staying here again in the future along with my ear plugs. lol.

We arrived at this hotel during the flooding...could not drink the water but they gave us bottled water. The room was filthy...the bath sink was dirty, the wrapped bar of soap was covered in hair, the floor had hair on it. The room needed to be vacumed, white lint everywhere, and layers of dust under the tablelegs and around the edges of the room. Hair in the sheets...yech!
