  i stayed there during recently hurricane.we were so upset about our life. but when we came here,prices are so cheap according to the prices of all around the that mottel. other mottel owner tried to make good money from that disaster. enviornment of travelodge was so friendly,front desk clearks are so friendly,everyday they ask for our health and last night stay.we stayed there 5 days,we felt like family members.. one thing i never forget about the last talk with a front desk cleark, at the time of leaving we gone there for resid.i told her, we will back here,when the next hurricane will come.she said, ""i don't want you will come here because of hurricane,i pray in front of god,it never happen agian,she said,""yes ,in future when you feel you need rest and vacation,then you will come here and stay with us.it really touch my heart. we bless here from our heart.

• Increasing prices after making reservations

  I booked two rooms back in March for this hotel for $* a night per room. Im a college student just looking a place to sleep on a road trip, so even looking at a hotel much more than that is a waste of my time. They told me it was too far in advance to send a confirmation email, but they gave me a confirmation number. I was naive enough to just them at their word. When I check in on Friday, they ring my bill up for $* a night, per room. I tell them to just cancel the rooms and I'll go find somewhere else. I know for a fact there are many other rooms available at this place that night because the woman working the desk told me so. So having a room reserved then not staying there is not hurting them at all. They say I will be charged 1 nights stay to cancel. After a while they tell me they can move the price down to $* a night per room, which I later find out is what the price is supposed to be for that weekend in the first place. Yet I was being charged $* a night for some reason. When I said that still wasnt good enough, they didnt understand why. Apparently to them doubling the amount I was supposed to pay instead of tripling it is supposed to make me happy. I said I wanted to speak to a manager. Conveniently all the managers had someone in the hospital at that time, but I was promised I would be contacted when they got back. Of course I never heard back from any of them. Bottomline, dont stay here. There are other hotels for the same price right next to it.

  Made reservations by phone instead of online, I wish I had read the other reviews. I realize I was not staying at the Four Seasons, but for the first time my wife would not even get out of the car. It was a last available booking on a Auburn weekend, hotel was in poor shape, old, and not clean. Had to call three times to cancel booking, they went on and charged card anyway. Book farther out of town if you have to, do not waste your time, even as a last resort option

  Paid & had reservations for a king non-smoking room, but when arrived got a double non-smoking iroom in back of hotel. discovered poor facilities and room conditions.
