We were looking for a good price near Salem NH so went searching prices and reviews. Andover won out and boy were we glad! Smooth check in and plenty of parking. The room was clean and quiet during the night. No lingering odors. The pool and exercise room was well equipped & should have used them. The breakfast the next morning was great. I had waffles, and my husband had a bagel. Juice, and wonderful coffee. I wish we had stayed here for our three days of vacation.

I booked a room here using a website. Got the $*/night rate for 3 nights in early August. I booked 3 weeks in advance. I arrived at hotel with my confirmation number but they had no record of me. They searched and searched but nope. I had to use their lobby PC to logon to the web site, luckily I remembered my username/password, and then I printed up my confirmation, which they then honored and gave me the last room with two beds (my family of four). So after 3 wks planning and 300 miles of driving, we came very close to not having a room. After the trip I found an extra unexplained $85 charge on my bill, from a date I wasn't even there. I contacted their customer service and they corrected this. The local mgr was nice enough to send me a coupon for a free night. Great. Well then a few weeks later I (luckily) looked carefully at my credit card statement and now there are two more charges just in the last week (I haven't been there in a month!), totaling almost $150. I just finished contacting their customer service again to try to get this resolved permanently. So in summary, it's a nice hotel and the $* rate can't be beat, the local hotel staff was helpful and friendly, but LaQuinta's reservation and billing system has some serious problems. If you go there confirm your reservation up front with the hotel itself, and be sure to pay special attention to your credit card statements!

Spent one night there. Real good value. Doubly good value since the price was so good. The rooms were VERY nice, The bed was fantastic. We took two rooms - one King Bed, the other double-queen. Both were clean and well kept. The hotel has a nice fitness room - somewhat larger then the average one you find in such hotels. The pool looked nice as well (indoor pool) - we did not use the pool nor the fitness room though. Breakfast was good - nothing to write home about, but with the basic stuff all there. The one note I have is that front desk person was totally overworked and tired, to the point that when we needed extra towel I had to go and get it, since she was the only one around. I guess this is how they can afford low prices... There is an Italian restaurant right next to the hotel, a gas station with a convenience store, and some other food options. Drive time to Boston area was also reasonable - about 30 min. on a Monday morning (~10am).

This is a lovely hotel. Great location. Marble entryway that is gorgeous. The rooms are beautiful. High valuted ceilings, luxury linens and gorgeous furniture. We have stayed at a lot of hotels but this one is above the rest. Especially because of the price. Beds are luxury pillowtop beds, feel great. Large room with mini fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Nice bathroom with thick boutique style towels. Marble countertop in bathroom. Pool is open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. which is wonderful. It is inside. Jacuzzi too. Breakfast in the breakfast room is yummy. Great spread of homemade waffels, bagels, fruit, jucies, boiled eggs and more. Good coffee also. Chili's is next door and many resturants deliver. The grounds are well kept. Nice residential area that is close to the interstate but you will never hear it. Don't even know it is close. Staff is friendly and attentive. We live 50 mins from this hotel in Maine. This was just an overnight stay after ending a trip from Cape Cod. It was so nice that we decided to stay an extra day. I am writing this review after spending one terrific evening at this special place.
