Clean, very nice folks, and great breakfast buffet (included). Great pool. Great feeling of security too -- place is all walled in and hotel folks are always around (not a bad area anyway). Been coming to Hermosillo for work for a year now. All the Ford guys stay at the Fiesta Americana ($$) next door, but I prefer to be elsewhere. This place is far more casual and affordable. There is a bar (bar la rosa) and restaurant that separates the Fiesta Americana and the Araiza and is fantastic. Park early or get stuck in the back (bar/rest have no parking. odd.) This is in the hotel district north of downtown. Don't fall for the internet places near downtown -- there are some scroungy/unsafe places.

Although a little worn on the outside our room was very clean, the staff is very nice in the hotel and the Cafe. The beds and pillows were rock hard, but I would stay here again.

A Great Place to Stop
03/20/2008Highly recommend when in hermosillo. nice rooms, clean, good staff, nice cafe. we liked it much better than fiesta americana.
