I was dissapointed that the pool was closed, the restruant was closed, and the fitness center was marginal. The beds were fair at best. I found out after we arrived that the tourist season had not started so many of the amenities listed on the website were not available.
If you sleep in the middle of the bed they are OK. Not recommeded for two people in one bed. I felt like I was going to roll off the bed all night. -

The best location, value for the money, clean and comfortable, very nice people, attached restaurant and theatre a plus ! Negatives were the tiny fitness center - only 3 pieces of equipment and the outdoor pool /hot tub- the need to go outdoors to the hot tub and pool - it should be attached somehow ! Yes, we would return.

The Welk Resort is an attractive complex with lovely grounds. It is away from the strip yet convenient. The rooms were small but comfortable and clean. They offered good value for the money. They are a non-smoking facility, but we still got occasional whiffs of cigarette smoke in our rooms and in the hall. Most likely the area I stayed in was a smoking area prior to the conversion. The dinner buffet was absolutely terrible and very overpriced. The service was non-existent. We cleared our own dirty plates and refilled our own water, yet they were not busy. They easily charged double what the selection was worth. They closed at 8:00, not the 9:00 that is published. I suspect the food might have been better had we gotten there earlier. The breakfast buffet was good and reasonably priced.

The rooms were nice and the staff were very professional and helpful. The Restaurant left a lot to be desired. They only served the buffet. Other than the restaurant issue the rest of our stay was good.

The hotel was clean and staff was somewhat friendly. Hotel was old and looked like it had not been updated for years. Restaurant was terrible!!! There buffet had only 3 items on it. There selection was small for what they charged.. The hotel was dreary and we won't go back. In addition The person who helped book events for the hotel was rude.
