This is a zero star hotel, nice location! Rooms are heavily worn out. I had 2 rooms there, both had cracks in the windows, big ones. Hotel taxis charge $30USD to the airport, I chose to pick one up off the street and only paid the meter price of about $5. The only nice thing about this hotel is the weekend breakfast buffer at 110 pesos. During the week its the same price, but not so fancy in its food. Otherwise its pretty tasty. Good service throughout the hotel. WiFi is slow and you must get a password daily for free. The metro Hildago is almost in the front of the hotel. The citadela is close by around the corner, about 1km. The alameda park is 1 block away. Anyways back to the hotel, beds are from the stone age and literally made from stone, no joke! It did have air conditioning, about a 200 btu a/c!!! Which housekeeping would turn off if you were not in the room, so don't expect much cooking! Rooms were not cramped as in the pictures. But all the pictures are wrong!!! Very deceptive! I will only recommend this hotel for an emergency. Staff does not speak English, but I spoke Spanish. Cleanliness was ok, like most hotels they just make the room look clean. You get 2 small bottles of water and shampoo, and a little lotion in your bathroom. No tub, just shower.

It was a miserable hotel! This is coming from a part-Mexican; I know crumby, and this hotel was below even cheap expectations. I was promised a free continental breakfast, but it wasn?t explained to me (who speaks Spanish) what it was, so I helped myself to a piece of bread and some juice, but then I was harassed the waiter saying that I needed to pay $8 for the single piece of bread and juice, that?s what they call a ?free continental breakfast?. Then when I got my food it was like they?d scraped it off of another table and given to me. It was disgusting. I?m all about cheap, but this place was unbelievably cheap. The room I stayed in was on the 7th floor but I could still hear the noises from the street like as if there were no walls there. The sheets were filthy, I slept on top of them, and the room was very ill-lit; at night I couldn?t even see well enough to play cards. After two nights in this hotel I switched to another ? The workers were too money grubbing. Oh, and if you don?t speak Spanish, you out of luck at this hotel.

  • Very acceptable for the price

Beds were clean. Leaking toilet was repaired during our stay without our having to request it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was good but not great. Locations was right next to a subway station. There was no heat and two days there was no hot water. My daughter and I felt the door locks were flimsy but we didn't feel at risk. We wanted to see Mexico CIty, not live in the lap of luxury and we didn't have the bad experiences that the other two reviewers had, so I wanted to balance the picture a little. We were on the 8th floor. Perhaps other floors were different. I wrote a previous positive review and am surprised not to see it.

  • Do not stay there

I booked for 3 nights but got bedbug bites all over me the first night. I got hundreds of bites over night and they developed worse and worse since then due to swelling and spreading. When we complained to the hotel manager, he moved us to a suite. But the cheap rate is not worth weeks of suffering afterwards...

My family and I were kind of forced to stay here since our original hotel was so far away from downtown Mexico City. I really wouldn't recommend any one stay there. There were cockroaches and rats running down the hall way. The rooms smelled like body odor. The beds were especially smelly, kind of like feet. The food at the restaurant was horrible, it actually made us sick. The bathroom was dirty. Overall I wouldn't stay there again. There actually is a really nice and cheaper hotel a few blocks down. It's next to an Argentinan restaurant. That's were we ended up staying the rest of our stay in Mexico.
