This is a beautiful location and the grounds are beautifully kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful . We only had breakfast here, but the food and service was great. We love La Paz because it not a tourist spot. We were there during Madi Grai and would recommend a visit during that time period. Main street is closed, and they have food booths, games shopping and bands. The rooms can use some updating, but they were clean.

Sure, you can pay more money, but if you want a decent room ON the beach, with great staff and a good restaurant, you won't find a better place in La Paz. The rooms could use some upgrades, but considering everything, it's more than acceptable. Grounds are super, view is superb, service is very good and all the staff I had contact with were eager to please. Beach is very gradual and saw several people wading and playing in the water. Resort has a free shuttle to take you into town (a 5 minute ride) and back again later in the day. I think the resort needs to purchase few more lounge chairs.
Like lifeboats on the Titantic....not enough for all of the guests. I also stayed in town a few nights and La Concha is much quieter......

We stayed here for our honeymonn. It was everything we expected and more. The room, view, food and service were all excellent. Most everyone new enough English to communicate. La Paz is a delightfull town and pleasant to shop in. If you are looking to just go and Party - don't come here. This is a true resort hotel and city.

10/13/2006This is a very un-commercialized property. that still has old mexico charm with modern conveniences. staff are extremely courteous and well-informed.
