Our experience here was mixed.The picture of the Hotel is rather deceiving.It looks as though there is a large driveway in front of the Hotel.Actually there is a kind of court-yard in front of the Hotel.There are small ""cottages""in an ""L""-shape on the left.On the right there is a Church.You enter the court-yard under an arch in the buildings at the front. When we arrived there happenend to be a wedding going on in one of the reception rooms.No big deal you would think,it is definately a lovely place to have a Wedding.We were upset to find we were unable to drive up to the reception in the main building to drop our luggage off and sign-in.The whole section was sealed off so the wedding party would not park ther I am presuming.We ended up parking quite a distance away.I did comment to the reception staff but they were not really concerned. As it happened we were in a newer section away from the main building which caters more for families.The room was very spacious and the patio doors opened onto a small patio,with chairs and an area of grass and trees ideal for chilldren.The room was very clean and nicely equipped.The only complaint I have regarding the room was I could not find a bath mat,and I actually slipped getting out of the shower! I have the bruises to show for it.I should of told the reception staff but of course I did not. If you love to play Golf this is ideal it is set in lovely grounds with of course a Golf Course.We saw children,Men and Woman of all skill levels playing.We ate in the Restaurant at night and it was good.The breakfast buffet was I must say the best I had seen. A bit over priced.
