The hotel has a good location. It's close to Times Square, shopping, and the MTR. However, the price of the hotel vs. the quality of the room makes it overrated. The room was old and outdated. I expected either a nicer room or a room with space. Another annoying fact is that for wireless internet was not free and they change the password every 3 hours, so you have to keep calling the operator for the password. I would not recommend it unless you want just the location.

Great Stay at Excelsior

I STAYED IN THIS HOTEL FOR 8 NIGHTS.THE FRONT DESK WERE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.WHEN WE FIRST ARRIVED THE ROOM WAS NOT READY.THE MAN SAID THEY WERE SORRY THAT THEY WERE VERY BUSY.HE THAN GAVE US FREE DRINK PASSES AT THE PUB INSIDE WHICH I THOUGHT WAS VERY NICE,BUT ALSO THE NEXT DAY A BOTTLE OF WINE WAS SENT TO OUR ROOM WITH A TYPED LETTER THAT SAID THEY WERE SORRY ABOUT THE ROOM! THEY HAVE GREAT PLACES TO EAT AND IT IS LOCATED IN A GREAT LOCATION FOR EVERYTHING.THE DOORMEN HELP YOU THE MINUTE YOU PULL UP IN FRONT.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.
