I had reserved a NON smoking room with this hotel through Travelocity, Nov '08. When we arrived that night, all they had left was a smoking room. It smelled unbearable (I'm allergic) but we had no choice as we had just driven 6 hours and it was 1:00 in the morning, and a soccer competition filled up the local hotels. The night desk gal was very nice and apologetic tried to do what was in her means to recfity the error. The next day I dealt with a front desk woman name X who acted like it was my fault and did not appologize, had a poor attitude, seemingly no experience with customer service and resolving these types of situations. She made me so furious I started shaking and raised my voice at her, which ruined the rest of my day. I understand having a bad day and finding it difficult to function at work but this woman needs serious re-training. I'm afraid to go back there because of her.

We stayed at this hotel due to a death in our family. I had reserved two rooms and the hotel did not have my second room reservation. They were able to provide a room so I thought all was well, but realized the next morning that the hotel had charged both my credit card and my father's credit card for the rooms that I had reserved and paid for through the travel website. When I went back to the hotel to get their mess straightened out, they were very disrespectful and refused to give me any documentation they were going to credit my or my father's credit card. This was the worse experience I have ever had staying in a hotel. The only good thing I can say is the hotel had been newly remodeled and was very nicely decorated, but definitely not worth the hassle.

Noisy uncomfortable rooms

1) Thin walls so we could hear everything going on around us including water running, phones ringing, alarms going off, people walking above us and in the hall.
2) Our room had the misforutne of being across from the breakfast room. Every time someone entered or exited that room the door slammed and rattled. This started at 6am and went on until 10. Since we didn't need to be up at 6 it was beyond annoying.
3) Small bathroom, thin rough towels, thin rough toilet paper & tissues. Two bath towels for 2 adults. I asked for more and eventually got them after a load of laundry was completed.
4) Our first floor room had blackout curtains that let a lot of light in at the edges and bottom from the brightly lit parking lot. Even with our lights out our room was still pretty bright inside.
If those issues don't bother you then you might be ok here. They did have breakfast available consisting of cereals, make your own waffles, coffee & juice & bacon and some bananas and apples. There was also a small indoor pool at the entrance (although the smell of chlorine was strong). The maids were friendly and the check in staff was friendly.
I could probably have lived with everything but the noise issue - by the 2nd morning of unrestful sleep my eyes were bloodshot and I felt awful. I guess if you're a heavy sleeper or noise doesn't bother you this place would be fine!
