My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend and it was fabulous! It was in walking distance to everything and the staff was very helpful. Also the continental breakfast is a nice treat as well as the complimentary wine 24/7 in the lobby and wine tasting. Most likely returing soon!

Lovely historic hotel in the heart of Charleston. For location, can't be beat. Service was great as well. But the trade off to the ambiance and location is the age and its impact on the noise level. I was streetside on 2nd floor and you could hear people under your window walking by. In addition, I could hear every step the person above me made all night long. I would stay there again but ask for the top floor and/or on the courtyard side.
