  My family had to spend New Year's Eve on the road, and we stayed at this hotel in London. We had to agree to let the hotel put a $100 hold on our credit card (for a week!) because it was New Year's Eve; evidently they thought we were going to tear the place apart celebrating (our son is only four.) The suite we had was fine; pillows and bed were fine and there was a small dressing area that was a nice surprise and gave us some extra room. The breakfast is usually served only until 9 am, which seemed a bit early unless one is on a business trip, but because the next day was a holiday it was served until 10. We were disappointed to find that it is just a continental breakfast, with no eggs or waffles or anything like that. The final factor in determining that we would not stay here again is that we were charged for the bottle of water we found in our room. In all our travels, we have never been charged for water; every other place has provided a bottle or even two on a complimentary basis. I don't mean to sound petty, but I don't like extra charges, especially with no advance warning. This hotel is okay in a pinch, but given a choice I would definitely stay somewhere else.
