    I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life. This hotel gave me the worst service I have ever received! I had returned to the hotel after losing my friends at a concert at a nearby venue, only to realize that my friends had both keys, after explaining to the night manager my problem, giving him my room number and the name that we were registered under he not only did not let me into my room, he didn't even let me in the building to wait in the lobby or use the phone. I was forced to wonder downtown Minneapolis by myself looking for a payphone, but unfortunately I only had Canadian change and had to return to the hotel and again beg to be let in so that I could try to phone a friend. By this time my friends were back at the hotel and came out of the elevator while I was once again (and rudely) denied entrance into the building. At this point it was after 3 in the morning, and I was finally allowed in. When my friends questioned the manager of why he didn't even let me in to use the phone he said that it was because I was crying. Later when I phoned down for a wake up call I was berated by a front desk agent who rudely accused me of calling front desk too often, apparently since arriving we had called front desk 4 times, with questions about how to call out and another of my friends had also called for a wake up call. I had no idea there was a limit to how many times I can call front desk.

    This was the worst hotel I have ever visited. The front desk clerk had given our confirmed rooms away because we came in late. He then gave us keys to a dirty room, told us we could not contact the manager, and to take it or leave it. One of the rooms was smoking and should have been non-smoking. The wireless internet does not work. The safe and air were not working in one room - we were told there was no maintenance on duty either.
    The staff was the most unfriendly and unhelpful I have ever seen.
    online travel website did nothing to resolve our issues. We left the hotel on our own to find a new place to stay. Let me emphasis again that we were given keys to a room that had not been cleaned and the staff was aware.

    First of all, I booked a room through travel agent and they didn't tell me I booked a Cabana room. The Cabana rooms are in a seperate building and are very run down. The room was terrible, there were no locks on the doors. The windows wouldn't close and were cracked and dirty. The carpet was wet and sticky feeling. The room smelled terribly. The hotel was located in the ghetto and the bad part of town. I did not feel safe for a minute in this room, because there was only the hotel door(with no locks) and a gate between us and the ghetto. I would NOT recommend this room to anyone. DO NOT STAY HERE!

    Strangely, other people have had horrible experiences with this place. My girlfriend and I stayed here for almost two weeks, walked to several theatres downtown (a couple of blocks away to some, one to the Orpheum), used the shuttle liberally, and never had a problem with the service. It's not one of the 300-800 a night hotels a couple of blocks away, but it's a great place for the price and location.

    We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. It was quite difficult to find. First thing that threw us off was the chain gated parking lot, which they charge you 7.00 a day to use. Next, the rooms were tiny and dank. The bed was so horrible we had stiff backs, and the fitted sheet kept snapping off the bed because it was too damn small! We couldn't sleep because of slamming doors all night! Thinking we'd go and relax after being out for the day, we go to the pool to find the water all murky and disgusting. I was so glad to leave that place and I will NEVER return.
