My husband and I have been coming to OC foe several years, we were staying at the Comfort Inn Boardwalk, however they did not have any oceanfront rooms available, so I found this hotel. I loved it...The rooms were very nice, beds were great, linens on beds were very nice. I do not understand all the bad comments. We did have a problem with the room keys, however as soon as we told the front desk, they sent someone up and replaced the whole thing. We are smokers so we were on the 8th floor and you coould definitly tell it was the smoking section but as I said..we smoke..Other non smoking floors did not have the smoke smell. Resturant food very good, service was just ok..But we will definitly be back and I would recommend. Great prices, we paid alot more at the Comfort Inn Boardwalk which was also nice but I will probably come back to the Quality Inn Boardwalk. Also very nice balconies..Private, and no noise, just the sound off waves crashing on the beach, my favorite sound!!!

We were very happy with our stay in this motel, I don't understand all the other bad reveiws. We had a Oceanfront room Bike week 2008 (family vacation, NOT a loud party motel). Our room looked great and the bedding was wonderfull. If you looked under heaters there was some dust and you can tell it is getting a little age here and there. Terrific location, indoor and outdoor pools were great. Easy check-in and check out. Ask for the AAA discount, we saved 10%. I would recommend to anyone, we will stay again. Our experience was not the same as everyone else complaining here. Resterant at hotel had very slow breakfast service, eat somewhere else.

I dont think I would suggest this room the shape that the rooms are in now. We had a suite on the boardwalk with ocean view. Which was nice. But the rooms definatly need a makeover!!!! They are working on the 6th floor. They need to do the 4th floor next!!!

When doors have broken locks, carpet looks like a minefield, Restaurant smells like ans ashtray and has dirty doors, windows, and menues, and is empty at meal-times..it,s pretty obvious that new owners, or mgt. team is desperately needed. The facility could be a really good destination if only someone cared. It's all down hill from here unless someone steps up to do the simple and basic things. It's a shame to see a good location mismanaged.
