We stayed for 3 days. Staff was great! Cheerful, good with recommendations where to eat and prompt with wake up calls. Room was quiet and clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom fan was not working properly & Coke machine for floor did not work but when I reported it to staff they apologized and immediatelyfilled out something and assured me it would be corrected. I have no doubts that it will be.

7 family members traveled together to the Newport News area, for a funeral, and the hotel kept all of our rooms close together or adjoining so we could be together to share our feelings and console each other. The staff was attentive, cooperative, and friendly.

The hotel was clean, the front desk staff was always helpful and friendly, and room service was timely. When I left, I was very satisfied with the service I received during my 4-night stay. When I got home, I discovered I had forgotten my cell phone charger in the room - I had left it still plugged into the power strip by the desk area in my room. I called the hotel to see if it was turned in. The front desk transferred me to housekeeping...housekeeping said it was turned in to the front desk - housekeeping couldn't transfer me back to the front desk so I had to make a 2nd long-distance call. The front desk stated they didn't have the charger but took my home phone number as they were going to ""investigate"" and would call me back ""either way"". They never called me back. So that means they 1) never ""investigated"", or 2) someone stole it. Lesson learned: ALWAYS ALWAYS thoroughly check your room before you leave.

The hotel staff was very nice. Maid service left alot to be desired, I had to ask for washclothes every day. Was diappointed there was not a hot tub. Pool was ok, indoor. Location was great, lots of places to eat, but I dont think I would stay there again.

The executive suite was perfect for me and my family. We stayed for a week. The full service kitchen was convenient and saved us alot of money by eating in instead of eating all meals at a restaurant. It was located close to the airport and not far from all of the historic sites. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My son locked his Nintendo DS in the safe and messed up the code. Within 10 mins of my call someone came and unlocked it. We also had a issue with burned popcorn and the staff went out of there way to help. I will definatlely stay here the next time I vist Virginia.
