We booked five rooms and spent two nights at this hotel and we all had the same complaints. Upon arrival the rooms were filthy. The rooms were smelling musty, the bed covers were dusty and the linens were dirty as if they had not been changed from the previous occupants. This should not have happened as the hotel was expecting us. The tub needed to be cleaned and all five toilets had brown ring marks and spots inside. When we requested housecleaning they did not come until 45 minutes and all the guy did was clean one toilet and disappeared for the rest of the day. We had to get the supplies and clean the bathrooms and change the linens on our own. Some vacation. We did not feel safe there and the staff was quite lazy but no judgments here! Two of my friends got massive skin rashes after using the towels, one had to see a doctor. The garbage bin in the breakfast area was so filthy that no one wanted to touch it. It was all slimy and gross in the center of where we are supposed to eat. We decided to have a cleaner, healthier meal at a nearby McDonalds.

I asked for a non-smoking room. I was placed in a room that was so obviously smoking the ashtrays were dirty. The linens were singed and the edge of the dresser top had a black mark on it where someone placed a cigarette. There was long hair in the sink. There were short curly hairs on the floor in the bathroom!!!! Not clean, and my concerns were not addressed. I left the hotel and still argue that I was not treated kindly. Ramada won't do anything and the owner, Mr. X, won't either.

Traveling with young children is like traveling with an entire house, you have to take so much. I found the staff very helpful and understanding, even helpful getting me organized. Never having stayed with exterior corridors before, but it made loading and unloading a breeze. I got to park right outside my door. Breakfast was free and had a huge selections, great for my picky eaters and for my pocketbook. It made a pleasant ending it a long vacation. I wanted to make sure I wrote the review, so I am writing it from the hotel before we leave. Three kids under 5 yrs. old does not leave me much free time.

This was a one night stay before flying out for a couples vacation. The motel is convenient to Norfolk International Airport and okay for a short stay. The place is getting some age but we found it to be clean, the bed comfortable and a new flat screen TV to be a nice addition. It is close to a number of restaurants so you don't have to travel far for meals. The continental breakfast is a bit sparse but we weren't looking for luxury here. We would stay again for one night but probaly wouldn't make it a vacation destination.
