I will never stay here again. I arrived with three other people for a conference. We arrived there at 9:00pm. The room was cool so I turned the thermastat on heat. Within a short while the room became cold. After feeling cold air coming out of the vent I contacted the front desk. They told me that they have a ""one pipe"" system and that I need to turn the thermastat off since they will control the heat. After doing that and going to sleep cold, I woke up within an hour and was freezing. I called the front desk again and inquired about the heat. The man told me that they haven't turned the heat on and that he will have maintence look into it. I was shocked and asked him why on earth they wouldn't provide heat for their customers. He didn't give me an answer and said he would talk to the front desk. Needless to say, they never turned the heat on and my co workers and I will never stay there again.

I recently stayed at the Truman Hotel and Conference Center as my family went on vacation.I was more than pleased with our stay. The food was really good. We loved being able to go just across the parking lot to the movie theater. We really enjoyed our stay!

I was in town for a business meeting that I was not looking forward to. Well, from the time I walked in the door I was pleased. The lobby is fantastic. It isn't overdone but the spiral staircase is so nice. I was very surprised. The Front desk was very busy. They checked me in very quickly. I ordered room service and it was good, fast, and HOT! I spent many nights at the movie theatre right next door that I could walk to. They give you free movie passes. I really enjoyed Jefferson City. It is quiet and this hotel made my long stay even better! Good Job Truman!

Our room was full of spiders! In addition, moving some furniture to find them revealed dirt (toenail clippings, a year-old TV guide, and a you-know-what we had to explain away from the kids as a ""balloon""). Calling the front desk got us nowhere but the runaround about ""maintenance will be notified"", and ""season change"" for the spiders. This is now the ""Truman Hotel and Conference Center"". Harry'd give 'em hell for what we endured...
