I travel for a contracting firm - so I stay in low to mid-grade hotels all the time... Im used to some annoying things or random disappointments with hotel stays - Im not the most picky. However, this place is disgusting. Not only is the property not maintained, but the staff has no training whatsoever and the rooms smell like things have recently died in them. I actually had to request a new room four times before finding one I could stomach. They either smelled like must and mold with signs of water damage in the room itself... or were non smoking rooms that someone had just recently smoked a carton of newports in. You think Ramada and you think - this will be decent. If youre a trucker and need a bed for 6 hours & you can get a room for less than $ bucks - I might recommend this place to you if everything in a hundred mile radius was booked up. Otherwise, stear clear!!!

Flemington is a destination, so I was surprised that the hotel was kinda crummy. The key was difficult to use; even the second one we got was hard. The room had a "kitchen" at one end - with a sink/stove combo. It was dirty and the oven had no door. The sink part wasn't even hooked up to the plumbing. Weird. The refrigerator worked well, but the door was difficult to open as it dragged on the rug. The entire effect was that it was a residence type of hotel in a past life and not really converted to regular hotel use. There was a nightclub on the property and the music was loud. Good thing we were checking in late and were very tired. I was glad to check out in the morning. The staff was very nice, though.

i went with my family to Flmeington. i stayed at the Ramada inn. The room was heated and clean. the staff there was very friendly. they are nice and helpful. they helped me the following day start my car when my battery was dead. the only thing they need to focus on is to have an indoor pool. i will recommend this place to those who are looking for a quiet place. the prices are so reasonable comparing to the Hampton Inn.

Stay here if you must, but only if you must.

There were problems with the water. First morning we had no water at all. At other times, there was significant air in the pipes.

Cleanliness was marginal at best. I left a piece of paper on the floor (in an obvious place) as a test; it remained there for 4 days and was there when I checked out. The room had an unpleasant odor - old and musty. Wireless internet worked in the parking lot and lobby, but not in my room. When I was able to connect, the connection was slow and often dropped.

Next time I'll stay at the Hampton Inn up the road...
