Came in for my high school reunion, big changes in the area. But, the hotel was a real oasis. Very comfortable rooms, quiet, excellent staff. Bar popular but not too loud. Good, plentiful breakfast. In all, great place to stay especially with Travelocity rates.

We received a great rate for this hotel. Nice size rooms with everything we needed for a one night stay. Large bathroom, plasma tv, clean room. It was more than we were expecting for the price we paid. And they allowed pets.

No room at the inn

We arrived in Minneapolis at 1:30 am, picked up our rental car and proceeded to the hotel. Our GPS was malfunctioning, so we called the hotel for directions after we arrived in Minnetonka. At that time we were told that our "guaranteed for late check-in" room had been given away. After several calls, we were directed to the Bloomington Sheraton, back in the direction we had just traveled from. The following day we had to relocate to our original hotel; we were upgraded to a suite at their expense, but since we were there on business and spent very little time in the room, this wasn't much compensation for the midnight run around. For some sports-related reason, the hotel was teeming with minimally supervised kids, who overtook the swimming pool until the 10 pm closing, and chased up and down the halls until late at night. Although the facility was quite attractive, I'd be hesitant to book there again.

My girlfriend and I are embarking on a project together, so we chose to escape for a couple of days to just brainstorm. The hotel was close enough to town to get there easily, but it was in a very quiet, peaceful, and beautiful location. Lots of activities nearby (walking trails, shopping mall, GREAT restaurants)!!! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We'll definitely be back!! Thanks Sheraton!
