The property was easily accessible off the highway although the parking lot, driveway, & road were under construction so it was not very clear how to reach the hotel from the road but once in, there was plenty of parking. Our rooms were not ready at 4pm so we had to take a standard room instead of an excutive room. I don't really know what the difference is because the room we had was very large. It was surprising that the rooms were not ready since it was well after 3pm check-in time and the hotel did not seem at all busy. The receptionist seemed flustered by the whole thing and she called housekeeping to no avail. She also seemed stressed at handling myself & the phones and having someone waiting behind me all at once. Also, since the room was already paid for via travela agency. There was no adjustment made since it was pre-paid at booking. The restaurant was fine for breakfast. Again it was not busy but there was only one waiter/server who had to handle to whole place by himself & it took a while to pay the bill. The staff overall seemed that they would have trouble running the hotel if it was very busy.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for the night because we were going to a concert at Mohegan Sun. We decided to stay here because the price (that we were told anyway) wasn?t bad ($119 plus tax) and they provided a shuttle to and from Mohegan. When we arrived at around check in time (3:30) we were told that the shuttle was full until 6:50. We told the front desk that the concert was at 7:30 and we wanted to walk around before hand so they suggested a cab. What is the point in staying at a hotel with a shuttle service if we have to pay for a cab ride? We take the cab which cost us $15 with tip. We had a great time at the concert and stayed at Mohegan for a while. When we decided to go back we called another cab because the hotel?s shuttle stops at 1 am. We had to wait for almost an hour and the cab ride was another $15. We get back to the hotel and go to bed but only for a few hours because we got 2 6 am wake up calls that was meant for the room next door. We go back to bed for a few more hours until it is time to check out. When we check out we get the bill and it was for $180 and that was with the AAA discount. We ask why it was it wasn?t around $119 and they laughed. They said it is never that price on Friday nights and because we didn?t have the confirmation number (they never emailed it ) there was nothing we could do. So with the cab rides and the new price we could have stayed at Mohegan Sun!!!

The hotel was very well kept with clean rooms and friendly staff. Rooms were very nice with perhaps the most comforatble bed ive ever slept in. Very easy to get to and very close to the casino. I would definately recommend.
