I've stayed at the Cascadia before when it was Marriott. I've always found the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast is an added value and the price in reasonable. The Hotel is centrally located too. It's near to just about every place I like to go when in Vancouver. It's an easy in and out from downtown. I've been going to Vancouver at least one a year for hockey and shopping for the last 6 or 7 years. When I go again I probably stay at the Cascadia.

The hotel has a good location. Just a walking distance or a short drive to most of Vancouver's attractions...Stanley Park, Robson St, Granville Island, Vancouver Lookout, Vancouver art museum, etc. Customer service was really good & quite consistent during our 3 nights stay. Front desk staff & housekeeping were very friendly & accommodating like when we had a problem with the AC system in one of the rooms that we reserved on the day we checked-in. They were quick to resolve the issue. The rooms were surprisingly spacious with comfortable beds (time to change the pillows though), a nice complete kitchen & a well maintained clean bathroom. As for the pool & gym, both are hotel amenities that you shoudn't want to miss if you're into those activities... the pool is clean, the gym's space maybe a bit small but its well equipped. Most of all, you don't want to miss their buffet breakfast which my family unanimously said was really good & gastronomic. All in all, this hotel topped among the 3 hotels we stayed at during our vacation & even exceeded the 4-star hotel accommodations we had.

The hotel experience was excellent, the staff was great..my friends and I walked to a nightclub 1 block away and it was raining we didnt bring umbrellas. The staff gave us umbrellas to use. The rooms were very clean and you had an amazing view of Downtown Vancouver. I will always stay at this hotel when I come to town

The hotel is located in the center of downtown... although it is older and the kitchen's need to be updated. The breakfast was really gross and there was absouluty NO hot water the morning we checked out. Great customer service when we checked in, although we requested 2 queen beds online and was give one queen and a sofa sleeper.
