My husband and I spent Saturday and Sunday nights at the Residence Inn. From the moment we walked in the door we were impressed. The front desk person was the nicest and most cheerful and helpful front desk person we have ever met. The room was fabulous - a great king size bed with absolutely beautiful bedding. The cabinets were stocked and the counter was set for us. We had an exhausting weekend moving our son to Vermont for a new job and it was most relaxing to return our room in the evening. The breakfast buffet was not only delicious but plentiful. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, the food was good, and the view was unsurpassed. Thank you. We can't wait to return.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Residence Inn. I was able to bring my cat with me, which isn't usual for a suite hotel. The room was very clean and kept that way. The only 'drawback' if you can call it that, is thet aside from the bed, the other furniture isn't very comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the duvet was just right. However, neither the easy chairs nor the couch were soft - it felt like sitting on a life preserver. But, since I didn't use the couch or easy chairs much, it was a fine stay, and I would definitely go back.

My non-smoking room reeked of smoke, as did all hallways (smoking rooms are intermixed w/ non-smoking rooms). Front desk changed my room, but with disbelief (Why are you complaining? - You're already in a non-smoking room!!). Free dinner & wine reception, but when I poured myself a glass of wine after official 7:00 cut-off, the front desk staff glared at me then stamped over to the dinner staff, loudly demanding they 'lockup the wine promptly at 7! I would have given a ""5"", except for the ""Thank you for smoking"" policy and the covert hostility of the hotel staff.
