  I booked this hotel 9 months in advance because some friends and I were going down to the NASCAR race in Talladega (the hotel is just 37 miles from the track) I know prices go up on race weekends but to pay $* a night for this dirty, musty, old, rundown hotel is nothing short of Highway robbery. It was below standards even for a "Roadway Inn" Several things in the room were broken (towel rack, furniture...etc) Carpet was dirty, it smelled like ciggerette smoke, their was a gap on the door even when shut and locked so you had to listen to highway noise all night. The remote for the TV didn't work and if you used your cell phone in the room the reception on the TV would be messed up. If I had any other options I would have left. RUN don't walk away from this place.
