    Stayed for a quiet week following my husband's surgery in nearby Detroit. The staff could not have treated us any better. They were excellent. The hotel was very comfortable. The door man, manager and concierge were all extremely friendly and caring. We stayed on lounge level and the food and comfort were great. The lounge staff could not have been nicer and took great care to see to our needs. We will stay again. Walking distance to mall, dining and theater. Other shopping close by. Many attractions, Ford etc. also very nearby. Taxi or hotel transportation always available.

    Very nice hotel, clean, safe, nice indoor pool. food is quite expensive, so we skipped. lots of extra fees like $10 internet fee/day, dog fee, valet parking, stocked bar ...

    Very nice hotel, clean, safe, nice indoor pool. Food is quite expensive, so we skipped. Lots of extra fees like $10 internet fee/day, dog fee, valet parking, stocked bar in room, etc. Very nicely decorated room, but for a double, we were hoping for a microwave. On the other hand, each bed has a feather quilt/pad under the bottom sheet, wonderful soft sheets, lotsa pillows, very clean overall, and super-friendly staff. Twice-a-day maids.

    This is truly a Ritz that time forget. The hotel LOOKS like a Ritz in the public areas, but that's as far as the resemblance goes. What's wrong? No email confirmation of our reservation, no one working there to greet us or help with our luggage or car, revolving door broke suddenly locking us in, emergency release button didn't work, the first three room keys given us didn't work, the ventilation system in the bathroom was as loud as a power lawn mower, poor check out procedures (unwilling to give us a receipt).
