Staff at the hotel was wonderful, always helpful and friendly. The prolblem is the the entire hotel, even the non-smoking section, reaks of cigarette smoke. Other casinos seem to have a better filtration system for removing the smell. I was attending a conference there, and there was not a route to the ballrooms that did not take you directly throught the smoke filled casino. All the non-smokers at the conference suffered because of it. If a better filtration system was installed this could be a top notch resort. The food was wonderful and the hotel seems to have a good resort attached to it.

Everyone on the staff that we encountered at this Resort was extremely welcoming, from the valet who met us at the door, bellhop, front desk, security, cleaning services, and dealers in the casino. We had never been to the casinos and were on our honeymoon. We booked our room through Travel online and were upgraded to a suite at the front desk when they realized we were on our honeymoon. Our room had a jaquzzi hot tub for 2 it was awesome. The rooms were very quiet, we didn't hear the other visitors in nearby rooms. There were a couple of disappointments (the pool was closed one night before 7:00 and we wanted to hang out in the pool) and the remote didn't work to the huge flatscreen tv in our room. The dealers were very nice, they explained the games to us that we didn't understand and made sure we knew the odds and payouts. The cashiers at the casino were patient with us and explained things to us. We enjoyed just exploring the property. We ate at the restaruant beside the Buffet (I think it was called High Tide) they had an excellent soup & salad bar. We were told by friends that the buffet is great on the weekends with all you can eat crablegs and even a chocolate buffet! We could have spent every minute in the resort, the spa prices seemed pretty high to us, and the casino had a good variety of games - way more slot machines than tables though. We will definitely go back, the staff made the trip worthwhile.
