We have stayed at this Super 8 numerous times during our trips west. They are extremely courteouos and concerned about their patrons. The staff is willing to go the extra mile to accomodate us. Rooms are very quiet and extremely clean. Other hotels should take lessons in being this courteous and helpful. We have stayed at other Super 8 Hotels and Days Inn and prefer this due to location, cleanliness, extremely quiet and the courteous staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel for other travelers.

The location of the hotel in relation to U of I and shopping was great. However, the room left alot to be desired. I was given a smoking room, which I didn't even think existed anymore. The odor was needless to say overpowering. I called the desk and was told no other room was available. Since it was Dad's weekend at U of I no hotel had openings. I was stuck.
Upon trying to lock the door that night, I discovered the jam plate for the lock was missing, the secondary flip lock was missing also. The only thing securing the door was hole in the door frame. A call to the desk and I was told they were sorry but nothing could be done. I told the day clerk about the door (expecting it to be fixed) and went to the day's events. I returned eight hours later. The lock still not fixed, the room still as I left it. That was it. I checked out early and was given a very small refund for the second night that was booked.
