  On arrival I thought everything was great. That all changed very quickly. Leaving that evening we blocked in by a maintenance truck. The heated pool was not heated. The super start breakfast was not the deluxe as advertised. There had been storm damage previously and roof repairs started on Saturday. We were no longer able to use the entrance closest to our room. This made getting to and from our room more difficult as walking is an issue as one individual in my party is handicapped with her knees. An air compresser was placed approximately 15 feet from our window and this was very unpleasant. If the window was closed the noise was annoying and with the window open we could not even talk to each other. At 7:00P.M. we spoke with the desk clerk and she stated they would have to quit at dark and laughed. We later found out that other guests were moved to other rooms, however we were brushed off. The manager was not available on Sunday morning, but was to be in later. I called the motel at 1:30P.M. that afternoon and the desk clerk stated she had told him of my concerns. He was in and not available to take my call, but I was given his voice mail and was assured he would call me back. He did not!!!

• Small and disorganized

  We stayed here for a wedding. we had to assemble the wedding cake in the room, and there was no table. the room was small and disorganized.

  Rooms were not priced as advertised. same price for single as double. government discount and not tax did not matter on pricing. no coffeepots in rooms. staff was very good.
