This was our second stay at the Dubuque Super 8 while moving our daughter to the city. The motel was clean, clean, clean, and the staff was so great. We were so happy with the service both rom the front desk staff and the cleaning staff. What a great, friendly group of people. They made our stay delightful. Breakfast was good every morning, and they cleaned all during the morning, so it was always immaculate. It may be an economy motel, but we received Five Star service. We actually stayed July 14 -15, but the date of visit wouldn't allow me those dates.

We enjoyed our stay. We are a retiired couple and travel all over the US. We had a queen size bed and it was comfortable. The mattress was bit firm. The breakfast with biscuit & gravy was a bonus. We only had one problem, on sunday the breakfast room was crowded and we were unable to find a table. Thank you.

Stayed for two nights. Wasn't expecting much, given the price. That was ok with me, as I was on a budget. Great location for what I wanted. 2.5 miles to the Diamond Jo Casino in one direction, and less than that in the other direction to the local mall. Room was adequate for one person. Appeared clean at first glance, but soon I noticed the coffee machine still had coffee in it, and on the second day it was apparent they did not clean the bathroom sink as I had shaved earlier in the day and the stubble was still present. Back security door did not lock, which is a major problem in my book. Front staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was disappointing. Cereal, bagels, and one day biscuits and gravy without the biscuits. Also, the OJ was functioning both days, but something was wrong as it dispensed clear fluid at times. Was told they had just changed it. Same problem on the second day. Overall if money and location are two big factors, it was adequate. Just don't expect much. I would stay again if I was traveling alone.

Centerly located, staff was very nice, it was the room that was the problem. We had 3 adults in room and they left us only 1 wash rag and 3 towels, had to ask for more. Also asked for extra pillows, we were told that they only had one extra pillow in the place. The next day after returning from a day out, the room was not cleaned. The coffee pot still had coffee in it, the garbage was not dumped, the blankets were just tossed up on the bed and not really made right. Not really sure would stay here again, even for the price.
