We have stayed here three times and each time it is a delightful place. Decorated attractively, a huge variety of foods on the breakfast menu. The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to be helpful. The pool area is large with hot tube and sauna. A great place to take the kids and relax.

Stayed here about a year and a half ago and would never do it willingly again. The staff was friendly so that's a plus but the room is a very bare minimum. There is not even a closet. The bed was stiff, the room tiny but the worst thing was the smell of cigarettes wafting under the door at all hours. We had a non-smoking room but you'd never know it. We just thought we'd give Super 8 one more try and this was it. Definitely not worth the price.

It wasn't the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but it could have been a bit nicer. The ladies that checked us in each of the two separate nights we stayed there were pleasant and at the counter when we walked in. In the morning on check out, we didn't see anyone. The room was freezing cold upon arrival - they have the heating unit completely off. The tiled bathroom floor never did warm up. Torn wallpaper, old furnishings and carpet. There were donuts, english muffins, cereal, juice & coffee in the morning - unless you leave before 6am (which we did one of our mornings, to catch a flight from the airport). Nice thing is, it is VERY easy to find - barely off I-75 with a nice tall, well-lit sign. Several restaurants close enough to see. Also, easy on/off of I-75 makes it good for getting to the airport at the next exit.

What can I say .....But RJ And All the Ladies on staff are the BEST !!!!! .....All my needs were met in a timely matter and they all were very helpful. I have never felt more at home then I do there...down to feeling so safe and comfortable that I wore my jammies down in the lobby and that to me is a big plus in this Motel. I have never seen a more friendly staff, then the one at super 8 on Claude Ave. I'm away from home alot and in Flint quite a bit and in my mind ......I will always go back and stay with RJ ....and the Ladies cause they're all 5 stars in my book. See ya all real soon....

would I stay there again. We booked a non-smoking room but you sure couldn't tell it. The hall was rank with smoke, the bedspread smelled of it, the room in general reeked. No closet-just a rack jutting from the wall right by the bed. My husband jammed his back hard on it. Bed was very hard. Pillows were not fluffy at all. One surprising thing was the noise level-when we were in the room we could really hear other people but it quieted down for the sleep hours, at least. And the real shocker was that there was a microwave and mini fridge in the room! Pros and cons-depends on what you want.
