The hotel was very friendly to my dog- they presented her with a little baggie of Milk Bones upon arrival! We were not asked to use side or back entrances, as at other hotels, and not charged any extra fee (unless there is damage, which there was not.) Guests with dogs stay on the 1st floor, so the dogs don't have to go into elevators (great if your dog is not used to them, but I guess also to avoid a potential situation if other guests don't like dogs. Saves you from being insulted if there is actually someone who does not like your pooch! :-) The lobby is very nice, with computer terminals and free itnernet access (must pay if you want itnernet in your room.) The room was large, very clean, and the beds, pillows, and linens are very cushy and comfy. Flat panel TV in the room. This was regular king room - not a suite. Room was quiet - and far enough from the road that you do not hear the traffic. re: the complaint re: blackout curtains - this is common to ALL sheratons that I have ever stayed in - they have the heavy ones that do not move (furthest from the window), in the middle, they have the shears, and closest to the window BEHIND the shears they have the fully closing blackout curtains. You just need to know where to look! In-room breakfast was OK - delivered on time, but a bit pricey. Only complaint was the room service delivery guy did not bring the food into the room because of my dog (even though she was in a sit-stay.) If staff does not like dogs, they need to send someone else to deliver the food.

We recently stayed at the Sheraton Framingham and could not be more pleased with the facilty. We originally booked our overnight stay at the Monticello Inn but left because the front desk provided us a room key for which the room was already occupied. Obviously, we felt this was a saftey issue. We immediately called the Sheraton and found rooms were available. We we got to the front desk, they notified us that with a AAA card, we would receive a discounted rate, a free in-room movie and complimentary breakfast buffet. The experience, which could have been dmore than unpleasant, turn into one of the best overnights my husband I and have experienced. Thank you Sheraton and staff

Our overall experience at the Sheraton was good. The only problem was that there was a VERY bright spot light shinning directly in the window! There are sheer curtains with heavier ones, but the heavier ones DON""T close! So the room is lit up at night and then it faces the east, so the morning sun shines right in, too. I ended up using a hair band to tie the darker curtains together, which helped keep some of the light out. I told the woman at the front desk, in the morning at check-out, and she said they would check into it, and thanked me for letting her know.

We had travelled to the area with our childs hockey team. There were no common areas for our group to meet. We felt we were treated like prisoners, not guests. We had requested a non-smoking room for reservations (made 3 months in advance) and when we entered our room, (bags and all) it was a smoking room. We called the front desk TWICE and was put on hold for 20+ minutes each time. The problem was not solved until we went back downstairs to the front desk where we waited another 20 minutes for them to find us a non-smoking room. Parking was sparce. It was not the ideal place for groups/families to stay-spend a little more and stay somewhere else!

Clearly an old, noisy room

OK, let me prefice this by saying that I had my small dog in tow and I don't expect to be given the best room in the hotel, but I requested a king size bed and got 2 double beds. There was some issue with settlement because there was a huge crack above the closet which kept one of the doors from opening and created a large crack in the tile of the shower. The furnishings appeared new and it was clean, but there wasn't much to absorb noise and you heard every door opening and closing. I checked in around midnight -- if it was earlier and I weren't so exhausted, I would have complained, but the room seemed like it was miles from the entrance and it would have taken forever to deal with, so I just accepted things as is.
I paid $150/night, so I felt I should get something halfway decent.
As for location -- if you're traveling off of the Mass Pike, it's easy on and off. But then again, the highway noise contributed to noisiness. Breakfast (room service) was super speedy but expensive ($* for two servings of eggs/juice/coffee).
