This hotel is not a large three bedroom condo; the rooms are rather basic. The hotel is on the beach and has a pool. It served its purpose for us (somewhere to sleep). The price was good compared to other options. I would recommend this hotel to others that spend time doing other things other than watching tv in their room. This is my second time to stay here and would stay again.

This hotel was great for the money. The room was clean, the AC worked, wireless internet OK, television worked. The beach is right out the back door. The only possible shortcomings are the lack of a refrigerator in the room and only a shower stall. I am making reservations to stay here again next year!!!

After reading other reviews, this hotel was what I expected it to be. First the good stuff: the location is excellent - it is right on the beach which is exactly what I was looking for. The pool was nice and the deck area was large. The room was surprisingly clean and the bed was ok comfort-wise. The staff was friendly & helpful. The complimentary breakfast was typical of most hotels that offer this. The price for the overall experience was good - it is a beachfront hotel. Now the bad stuff: The lobby area and hallways reeked of cigarette smoke. Even up on the 2nd floor the hallways were unbearably smoke-filled. The room (although clean) was very small (not much room for both our suitcases). The TV was ancient and the remote control did not work - had to get up out of bed to turn it on/off, change channels & volume. The wireless internet was not working. Simply because of the price in relation to the location, I would stay here again and recommend it to others. Unless you're picky about hotels, then you'll want to stay somewhere else. By the way, we ate at Cotton's restaurant just down the street and it was excellent. We had the petite filet stuffed with crab and it was really good.

We checked in, saw the room, then asked for our money back. The carpet had multiple stains. Where it met the tile in the bathroom, it was filthy. The bedding was old and scratchy. I'm not even sure if it was clean. The sink was actually in the bedroom which was awkward. Our room was on the top floor, and where the wall met the ceiling, there were water stains from Hurricane Ivan. They hadn't even bothered to renovate. The balcony with the side Gulf view and the full view of the parking lot was so filthy you couldn't sit on it. We stayed maybe an hour and then moved down the street to another property.
