Reservatrions made on-line, asked for non-smoking. I called the hotel after making the arrangements to make sure it was non-smoking. I was assured by the hotel that my room was nonsmoking. I arrived at 11:45 PM to a very smelly smoking room. I did not ask to change because of the late hour. The next morning at checkout the manager was on the desk and asked how thr room was. I explained that we had booked a non -smoking room and confirmed it with a phone call. He said since we had booked through an agency we could not specify non-smoking!! He was very disagreeable!!!

The room took many hours to cool off. When temperatures are in the 90s, the maids may want to keep the air conditioners on, even on low air. The hot tub was broken and unusable, but the staff was nice.

The price is good and so is the location. The breakfast isn't anything special but not bad. Good hotel if you just need a bed to sleep on and are passing through, there is not much going on in London. We also were in a smoke-free room and could smell somebody smoking nearby.
