Well, the good new is the staff was friendly and the room was nice and clean. Unfortunately, the walls were paper thin, and you hear every door slam, every person in the hall, every car outside in the parking lot. We are night owls and typically got to bed at 1-2 a.m. Early in the morning the noise began daily, and out of 5 nights we didn't get one decent sleep. One morning we had someone in the room above us, and it sounded like a stampede for 3 hours straight! I was awoken daily by the maids also, they start bright and early, and it sounds like the vacuum is right in the room with you! How hotels get away with such lousy construction is beyond me!

This Sleep Inn is located about 15 miles from the interstate along a strip in Grand Island. The hotel was fine with the standard Sleep Inn continental breakfast. When I arrived my room smelled stuffy (not dirty), but the windows opened and this solved the problem quickly. thye have a good indoor pool which my kid thoroughly enjoyed. I worth the detour from the interstate. The price was attractive, but the local government gouges on the taxes.

I actually only stayed there overnight and it was to attend a family function the next day. However, I thought that this place was great and they offer a wide variety of foods for their wonderful breakfast! I will definitely stay here again!
