Great Hotel

Don't Stay!
03/05/2009We arrived about 10p.m. and the front desk clerk said there were no more double beds available and put 2 adults and a 5 yr old in a room ...
We arrived about 10p.m. and the front desk clerk said there were no more double beds available and put 2 adults and a 5 yr old in a room with 1 queen bed. He never mentioned it and as tired as we were...we wrongly assumed it was a King! Then, we are put right upstairs from the front desk, there is an openning..like a balcony to the 1st two upstairs rooms and a bell on the front door, so all night long...we heard the bell whenever someone came in!!! Not a good sleeping experience being woke up every hour! The rooms needed some updating...not horrible, but the room could have been cleaner. I don't like finding hair on blankets when you arrive in a room and you know it's not yours!!! They do allow dogs, but do charge at least $10 a night. Also, the guy at the front desk actually suggested that the hotel next door was cheaper when my husband questioned about the tax being so much! The gentleman in the morning was polite, but it was already too late for this place. Minimal breakfast, but about what was expected. We would never stay here again...ever! I would rather pay $ more a night than stay here again!!!
