  I chose this place because it stated it was dog friendly. I booked online and didn't think to call the motel and advise I would be travelling with a pet. When I arrived, I found out that the only pet friendly room was a smoking room, which didn't make me very happy. After calling travel website customer service, I decided to stay here at this location. The manager on duty stated the smoking rooms were that bad and he would move me the next day. I was able to smell smoke and opened the door and windows to air out the place. I didn't ask and the manager didn't ask if I wanted to be moved the next day. I stayed in this room for three days and dealt with the smell. I will definitely call before hand in the future. The room looked liked it was recently updated and was very clean. I like the balcony facing the private park and river. It was very convenient to take my dog for a quick walk right on the premises without worry of cars.

  Our family received the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I contacted the hotel to confirm our reservation and request a late check-in. The hotel owner stated if we did not check -in by 6 pm he would sell our room....which had been paid for in advance! I then contacted Travelodge customer service who refused to help stating all hotel are individually owned. We arrived and were told to pay an extra $* per night for an upgraded room because our room had been sold! This was more than the web site posted rates.

  Looked like room had been updated recently, very clean and it had air conditoning, thank goodness as the sun hit the room all day. beds weren't too comfortable. swimming ...

  Looked like room had been updated recently, very clean and it had air conditoning, thank goodness as the sun hit the room all day. Beds weren't too comfortable. Swimming pool very small but had a nice park by the river. Continental breakfast was disappointing, muffins, fruit (bananas and apples) and coffee.
