Noisy, Smelled like smoke and burn holes on bedspreads

This was by far the worst motel we have ever stayed at. It is noisy, right on Marine Blvd., it has a bar with people going up and down stairs all night and using their outdoor voices. We we given an adjourning room and the lock on our side did not lock (the hotel staff did fix that however). The fight between the man and women next door could be heard. We had to change rooms. This is a party motel not for families or those trying to sleep. The bedspreads each had cigarette burns and the rooms smelled like smoke despite being non smoking and this was after I had the room changed to one down the hall. The staff seemed insulted that I asked for a change of room. I noticed the maids all working with cigarettes hanging out of their mouths which would account for the holes and smoking smell. The refrigerator was clean and so was the mircowave. The T.V. did work.

The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. The pool was right next to the main road but, was cleaned everyday. The hotel is located next to everything, food, shopping, and the Base. The breakfest was ok, I'm not a cold ceral person but there were donuts and coffee. We would stay there again.

Stayed here on business because I have Trip rewards and wanted to accumulate points. After a few stays I couldn't stay here anymore. people smoke in the nonsmoking rooms and cigarrette smoke comes under the doors and through the A/C and Heat system. The beds are very uncomfortable. it was fairly clean, TV worked ok and it had microwave and fridge. The hotel sits very close to the road and it is very noisy. A lot of noisy marines and construction workers like to stay here and stay up late at night drinking beer and making noise. Maybe if I was on vacation it would have been different, but as i was there for business i needed to get some sleep and it just was not satisfactory. The Mai Tai restaurant is right behind it and it is very good.

nice, friendly staff. located off very busy road. very loud and noisy area. pool is located right next to the busy road so kept us from partaking in enjoying that amenity. overall decent stay. would stay there again if necessary.
