08/30/2009Stayed there for location. room smelled like sweat, the bed was broken down, you can hear everything going in in the hallway. the smell was the worst. never again.

My family and I chose this location because it is near the Aquarium and because of the descriptions of the quaint area. It was NASTY. The entire place, lobby, halls, elevator and rooms smell of damp stale ash tray. Refrigerator: Broken, Coffee Pot: Broken it leaked over everything, Hair Dryer: Broken. When we told the front desk staff, they seemed to find it ammusing. Just smiled and laughed. They add a SAFE CHARGE to your bill unless you specifically tell them that you didn't use it. I will NEVER stay here again. I'd rather sleep in my car.

Numerous roaches. The toilet wouldn't flush. We would have to fill the ice bucket up with water and pour it down the toilet to flush. The day we left the sink was stopped up and full of water and would not drain. The room temperature is difficult to control. There is no iron in the room. You have to obtain it from the front desk and then return it after using daily. There is no clock. I thought these things were standard in hotels today. The location is great, but that is it. I would not recommend this hotel.

Booked three rooms for family vacation, left early next morning as soon as we found an other motel to stay at. Air Conditioner not working, broken bathtub fixture. Floors were fithy dirty. Staff very unaccomidating and rude. Worst motel I ever stay at over 36 years of traveling. Granddaughter had bites next morning, not sure from what. Mildew in one room growing on wall. Disgusting!

the service was terrible, rooms very small for a handicap person, we asked for a non smoking room and we were surrounded by smoking smells the whole weekend, even inthe hallways, we ask for are room to be cleaned and we ended up cleaning our own room and begging for clean linens. it was not worth the money we paid. as soon as we got there we wnated to leave.
