We booked this hotel through travel website, as all the other stays on our trip. The room was to have pre-paid * but when checking in, all they had was a reservation. The room had not been paid for. We had to pay again before we could check in. The room was also supposed to have 2 queen beds--they were full. The room was small and outdated. It appears as though the property was probably built in the '50's and has had very little updating over the years.(the pink and brown tile in the bathroom was a good clue) I realize with an older property you can run into problems, and it is costly to update a place like this. I also realize the property owners are working hard to provide a servce for people. They were friendly when we spoke at check in and check out. My biggest problem is paying twice for a substandard room. And that does not appear to be the fault of the hotel owners.

Respite care
03/23/2007After a night stay at another laramie modtel that was horrific, it was wonderful to stay here for two nights of a clean quiet room close to downtown and campus.

I stayed at the Laramie Travelodge because of my Dog, It was the best choice I made. The room was very clean, I had a non smoking room, most Hotels they put you in a smoking room If you have a pet. I parked right front of my room the Breaksfast was wonderfoul Everything I needed bagels and cream cheese but they had bunch of other things even for the kids, my dog got treats. The Hotel cat also was a character and very social. The owners very friendly People from Chicago.
