This hotel has the highest rates because they know it's the ONLY hotel in the area. The front desk clerk is THE RUDEST person I've ever encountered! If you stay more than one night you have to ask them to clean your room every day...if you don't ASK them specifically EACH DAY to clean your room, then they wont! The rooms are the bare minimum. Barely adequate. They don't offer any deals on the rooms because there are no other hotels in New Lisbon. The pool and the whirlpool are always FREEZING! The ""continental breakfast"" is a JOKE! RUDE front desk & DIRTY, over-priced room!

This hotel could use a major attitude ajustment. The whole staff was rude! We rented 2 rooms one for my husband and I and another for our kids. We came for a wedding and paid a high price to stay at this hotel because the wedding was in New Lisbon. We came back to our hotel one of the days and it's a good thing we did because our room was missed by the housekeepers. When I politely called down and asked if they could come up and do our rooms (both of them) they were very rude about it. The housekeeper kept glaring at us and the front desk was very short. My kids used the pool but it was so cold they only stayed in there a few min. The only reason why we stayed here is because my neice insisted that it was a nice hotel that she had come to often while she was in high school to preform for various confrences held there since she was in show chior. Some other family members stayed in the Dells paid just the same as we did and got a lot more pirks. I would advise this hotel not to charge top rate prices when its a low rate hotel.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and also had family that stayed as well. We booked our block of rooms 8 months in advance and continuously called to make sure everything was still in line. On the day of our wedding the Maid of Honor went and paid for our room and she was told that she could not get the keys for us only the bride or groom could... so my husband had to leave a golf outing to get our room keys before the wedding. My maid of honor and my husband then told me that they had our room reservations mixed up with another couple who was also getting married. We did get our room but when we finally got back to our hotel room it was anything but romantic the jacuzzi jets were all faced up and sprayed the entire room with water and the drain wouldn't stay in so it kept draining water. The T.V. didn't work it kept flipping channels on its own and the volume kept going to max level. When we called the front desk she just said, ""um I don't know you'll have to wait until 7am when the next shift comes in."" And then she told us they messed up our rate and they needed to charge us another $50... because the other couple got a $50 discount! The also knocked on our door for housekeeping at 7am!! My family all complained that they got crappy service and the maid service was rude to them when they were asked to clean the room because it was forgot. I will never stay here again or reccomend anyone else too! They ruined my wedding night & memories by being rude to me and my family.
