Very good hotel with efficient helpful staff. In the best area in Recife, beach at low water and pool on the roof make it a good hotel to relax in. Taxis outside 24/7 close to the airport. Taxi and Bell Captain very helpful for local trips.

This hotel has great service overall. The staff are competent and the breakfast in the morning is really good. The rooms are nice, though I felt for a five star the decor could have been updated a little more than it was. The hotel is right across the road from the beach, but is not truly 'on' the beach, nor are any hotels on this beach. However, when the tide is not up you can swim on the beach right by the hotel.

This hotel is on the water, great view from rooms, beach is rocky, so not much swimming here. Restaurants are very nice, if you're lucky to be there during feijoada night you will have a taste of typical brazilian fare. Pool is rooftop, as well as gym, nice place for sunbathing. If you're going for work, rooms have cabled internet access which works nicely. Walk a couple of blocks and visit a handicract fair, seems to be open every day.
