3/10/08-3/13/08 Wonderful Hotel. Close to everything. Helpful Staff. Excellent Breakfast. Some very noisy and annoying teens there at the same time and kept banging on our wall and calling our room. Spoke with management and they were moved or left the next day. Would definitely stay again!! The roof top was excellent for seeing the city and the Acropolis especially at night.

They only problem with this hotel was the noise at night. The location is great for the sights and access to public transportation but is on a very noisy strip of town. The cars and motorcycles woke us up throughout the night. It was very clean and comfortable. Except for the noise, we loved our stay here.

The Plaka Hotel has the best location in Athens because of its proximity to the Plaka and its spectacular views of the Acropolis. The staff was helpful and there is a breakfast buffet. Although they claim to have been recently renovated, the air conditioning did not work well in either of two rooms we stayed in.
