The hotel was great- probably the best on the island, though getting there from the ferry landing was not easy (No taxis and the bus driver forgot about our stop and we had to wait for him to take his 30 minute break after all the other stops to finally go to our hotel). The room was nice with a spectacular view. Nice vanishing edge pool. Restaurant was fufu and expensive, but the food was good generally. Staff very helpful with a car rental to see the island. Location was good. In summary of Mykonos, it is like a smaller scale Venice with the atmosphere of Ibiza.

Website said renovations were complete, but gym and day spa were closed - which was not mentioned until arrival and no price discount given. The ""infinity pool"" sits at the edge of the main road to the cruise ships, so if you sit in the pool, you don't have some serene view of the water - we counted 6 buses pass in 1 minute, no joke. The view to the left is a big dirt field filled with trash. The view is further obstructed by a giant power line. The suite room has two tiny drawers, so no place for your clothes. At best, this is a 3+/4- star hotel and should have lower rates to reflect that.

10/09/2006We stayed at cavo tagoo in mykonos, greece last week -- everything was luxury -- rooms, view, food, staff -- i highly recommend this place -- we never wanted to leave the hotel!
