The Regency was just far enough away from the airport and Dublin center to be restful, but accessible. The staff were extremely pleasant and unobtrusive. Dubliners are really nice people - a mother with her two children in line at the Dublin Zoo noticed me alone. She asked if I were indeed alone. After responding yes, she then proceeded to include in her family ticket, giving me a free visit to the zoo. She would not even hear of taking any money, even towards next year's membership!
