  My stay was in December 2007. My room was 81 degrees F at night and I couldn't get the temperature to come down below 80 degrees. The front desk told me to open the window. It didn't help bring the temperature down because I couldn't get a cross breeze. The open window brought in the noise from the freeway and the 24 hour construction occurring on the subway line extension. The front desk only offered excuses about the building being old. Additionally, food and beverages are extremely expensive. $35 USD for the breakfast buffet, $20 USD for a Corona beer in the bar. And there are no restaurants within walking distance.
