  A really great experience. San Pedro is in the nicest part of Monterrey in my opinion. The hotel is great and the staff is excellent. Good for business or pleasure. There is a Starbucks and a big mall just across the street (just be carefull crossing the street). I didn't drive in Monterrey I am not that brave. Most of the hotel staff I dealt with was fluent in english and german seems to be popular here as well. I was happy to find they had Deutche Welle on tv at the hotel. The hotel had really good security. Overall things are a little more expensive in San Pedro than in other areas of Monterrey but still much cheaper than in the US. If you want bargans venture out into other areas of the city. The hotel sells Cuban cigars for my fellow Americans who want to try one while in Mexico. Just dont bring them back with you. As far as the room goes even the cheapest room is beautiful. The pictures used on the website are accurate. Comfortable, and beautiful. TV has good mix of english and spanish channels with Deutsche Welle that covers English, Spanish and German. The mall across the street has a Cinepolis if you want to catch a movie. I don't remember the exact price of tickets but they were pretty cheap and concessions were much cheaper than in the US.

  I think this hotel is a beautiful place to go for luxury.Service was very good, my husband and I filled the jacuzzi for the first night and it would not work,called the desk, maintence was there in 5 minutes,fixed in 10 minutes and we were happy very quickly. later that night we took a walk,safe neighborhood and when we returned to the hotel around midnight there was nice music in the lounge but, we wanted more privacy to slow dance and so went to the garden and danced a couple of songs it was a perfect night for us. there were resturants all around within a 5 minute walk, starbucks across the street from hotel . I would recomend anyone to stay here if you want to be pampered and,you don"t want to worry about nothing .

  I have nothing but praise for this hotel. If money is not an issue, you should not hesitate to stay at the Quinta Real. The hotel is exquisite and the staff is honest and courteous.
