  After booking a room online, well in advance, I had a death in the imidiate family a few days later. As a result of services for my brother, I was not going to be able to attend my friends wedding at the hotel, nor stay at the hotel. With over a weeks notice about the situation, I was unable to cancel the reservation, with any sort of credit, because I booked it online. On top of that I was told I was lucky I called, because otherwise I would have been charged an additional 15% (keep in mind I paid in full already). Nearly a month later, I have not gotten a response from my several emails explaining my dissatisfaction. I would understand not getting a refund maybe, but not even a credit, for a room they had over a week to book. Horrible experience….

  This was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in over the past 2 years. One of the primary reasons I look for a Crowne Plaza, is that most of them (so-far) are pet-friendly, and we travel with an extermely dependant dog. Every Crowne Plaza has been well kept, clean and comfortable, but this one was more upscale than most hotels I've stayed in overall. I will always look for one in the future, whether traveling with the dog or not.

  The most pleasant stay at a hotel I have ever had. A superior room, and incredibly soft (but firm) mattress on the king size bed. The staff was helpful and polite, and the hotel itself the most beautiful in the state.
