Shabby, Moldy & Uneatable Breakfast

2. It was generally run-down and part of the roof was falling off onto the parking lot
3. The grass surrounding the property was approx. 3 feet tall. There has been a drought in that area this summer so I am suprised there was any grass at all; several of the shrubs were dead.
4. Our room smelled of mold and mildew. (see item 6...)
5. One of the lights did not work; neither did the alarm clock. I tried to call the front desk for a wake-up call four times (2 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday) nobody ever answered the phone.
6. There was a hole in the carpet and the carpet was wet from a rusted, corroded sprinkler head dripping.
7. The "continental breakfast" had no juice, no milk, 2 slices of stale bread and a few stale doughnuts available for the entire hotel. The excuse I was given was that the doughnut delivery man did not show up Sunday. Evidently he didn't show up Monday either because it was the same. I was told they had some fruit they could bring out but once the guy went to get it he never returned (I waited, and waited, and waited)
8. The parking lot was very cluttered and dirty.
