  We came into town and reserved a room here, expecting a decent clean room non-smoking without frills. We ended with a smoking room, a dirty bathroom, dirty toliet, and non working phone, that was also filthy. The phone was actually caked with stuff. Behind the bed where outlets were where holes, with no covers on them. The hotel appeared to be going through some renovation, as there were toliets on the outside in back and other furniture peices. Upon calling to check on status of the room we were not informed of this detail. After about 10 minutes in the room we requested another room and instead of just moving us, the front desk clerk gave us a very hard time. We requested our money back and left.

  We reserved a non-smoking room for two nights. The room didn't really smell too bad, but my wife woke the next morning with a sore throat. They switched us to another room, but the first one they offered had ants in the bed and on the nightstand. The next one was another smoking room. The last one we finally felt we had to accept just had a cheap ring on the commode without a lid so you had to be extra careful not to drop anything in the commode. However, for some reason they thought it would be a good idea to put a compact fluorescent bulb in the heat lamp socket. The lady who was checking out as I walked in had complaints about the drainage in her room as the owner sat behind the counter completely oblivious to what she said and was no more concerned about my comments. His staff was just fine, but his attitude reflects the overall state of his motel. Obviously, you don't expect a resort experience at this pricing, but this experience really makes this chain look sleezy, cheap and completely apathetic towards customer service.
