I have traveled all over the world and have stayed at the most posh 5-star hotels. Stayed here for a ball tournament and was surprised at the wonderful experience at this hotel. Front desk was slammed with the families staying for tournament and never once were they unpleasant- Always a smile! Always ready to help. Pool was warm and pleasant. Many families were very happy with breakfast.(I am way to picky to even make a comment-its my own problem). My son left his ninetedo in drawer. Cleaning staff put it in a bag and gave it to front desk. LOVE THE HONESTY- hard to find nowadays! Then hotel manager went above and beyond and offered to meet me at a mutual location to drop it off so I wouldn't have to drive to pick it up or pay the mail charge. Seriously- where can you get that kind of kindness and honesty nowadays! oh and the rooms were clean- and again.... I am beyond picky!!!!

We had a wonderful hot free breakfast while staying at this motel and the front desk clerk made reservations for us at Zehnders in Frankenmuth for dinner which got us to the front of the line ahead of many, many people who did not have reservations. We definitely would stay here again. It was a little pricey but worth it for the weekend. Our room was clean and had a microwave and frig, so it was very convenient. Staff very friendly.

I planned a fairly last minute trip to Frankenmuth for some shopping -- what a mistake it was to stay here. Most every hotel was booked up - and I paid over *** for a ""standard"" room. It is by far the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at. If you plan on sleeping, don't stay here! First, the ladies next door decided to have a little party. I can't blame the hotel for that -- but the doors adjoining the rooms had absolutely no insulation -- so we could hear every word. Second, the entire place is cheaply constructed. I could hear people walking throughout the place until 2:30AM -- which is weird because we were on the top floor. (It had the sound of coming from above.) Third, when I booked the room, I had a choice of ""standard room ---king bed smoking"" or ""standard room--king bed."" I selected a the latter. But, when I arrived was told that ""standard room"" means smoking or non-smoking, at the hotel's perogative and they were out of non-smoking rooms. Perhaps this last point is my own fault for not reading the fine print -- but stay away from this place if you want to catch any sleep during your stay.

04/21/2006We stayed here for two nights. enjoyed the large breakfast area, with seats viewing the pool. the pool area was always busy , as was the whirlpool. internet access was not ...
We stayed here for two nights. Enjoyed the large breakfast area, with seats viewing the pool. The pool area was always busy , as was the whirlpool. Internet access was not wireless but the front desk has cables. Overall we had a nice time.
