  I never enjoy encountering racism, but especially not at a hotel that I just paid nearly $* to stay at. The night clerk who checked us in was exceptionally rude and diffident. He stopped checking us into our room when a white couple came into the hotel lobby to request suggestions for dinner. I couldn't believe it! At this point in our society, I was really shocked to have experienced this treatment. After quickly laying our room key on the counter, the clerk just walked away without another word. Besides this horrible treatment, the room was really generic, hardly clean, and smelled like antiseptic mouth wash mixed with some other unexplained odor. I slept fully clothed on top of the rough comforter and we checked out before dawn even broke. I can't believe a big name chain would not do quality control on their personnel or their rooms. The location is good if you want to buy drugs or play at a gas station slot machine. Seriously, there are 5 gas station/casinos surrounding the hotel.
